Our Committees

In order to successfully grow our organization and execute all of our impactful initiatives, our organization is run by three principle committees: Student Engagement, Outreach, and Fundraising & Expansion. National Strategic Council

The National Strategic Council is responsible for developing and executing strategies to involve GEAR UP alumni across the country. A key aspect of the NSC will be to support and develop GUAA Chapters.

Communications

The Communications Committee is tasked with building awareness of our organization through various public platforms, as well as continuously increasing the number of GEAR UP Alumni who can contribute to, and benefit from, our Association.

Fundraising & Expansion

The Fundraising and Expansion Committee is responsible for devising innovative ways to bring resources to our organization that allow us to fuel the work we are doing and expand our network through collaborative partnerships in, and outside of, our community.

GEAR UP Alumni Association

The GEAR UP Alumni Association is an organization designed to support alumni of GEAR UP programs across the USA. We aim to maximize the potential of low-income, first-generation students from historically underserved areas by supporting them across the college-to-career finish line thus creating long-lasting change for the next generation.
